Refuse Collection & Maintenance Operative

(Mon-Sat, 37.5hrs/week, flexible working possible)

LOCATION

Covering Pembrokeshire in our brand new, specially designed waste collection van!

​

​

ABOUT THE ROLE

The main tasks include (but are not limited to):

  • Driving around the countryside and narrow lanes collecting bin bags from holiday cottages in our company van.

  • Disposing of the bin bags at the waste transfer station in Milford Haven.

  • Carrying out basic maintenance work in holiday lets.

  • Gardening and window cleaning when required.

Finest Retreats is a holiday lettings agent focused on delivering a five-star service to our cottage owners and guests. We’re a small, friendly team who work incredibly hard to deliver bookings and also organise changeovers and maintenance with a brilliant housekeeping team across the UK.

Thanks to our continued growth we now require a Refuse Collection and Maintenance Operative to help look after holiday lets across Pembrokeshire.

ABOUT YOU

You will be a genuine team player who will share our passion for great service. You will be reliable and have a great work ethic and attitude.

​

You’ll be driving our 3.5 tonne truck around the most scenic parts of Wales so an excellent driving record is a must. Experience in handyman or electricals work would be an advantage (full training provided).

​

You will be representing us out on the road so you will need to be friendly, courteous and happy to chat with owners or guests who you meet. You will enjoy driving on your own but being in regular contact with our operations team in the office.

​THE DETAILS

Flexible working hours: 37.5 hours per week.
£24,000 - £26,000 salary depending on experience.
32 days holiday per year.
Your birthday off.
Extra day’s holiday per year of service.
Phone & iPad provided.
