Keeping you informed
We are holiday let owners ourselves so know how important it is to ensure a consistent, quality housekeeping and laundry service. This is even more pronounced if you're not round the corner to pop in and check in on things yourself.
We use specially designed software to log all the housekeeping and maintenance tasks for every changeover and our cleaners must take before and after photographs which (should you wish) are automatically emailed to you. The regular updates provide peace of mind that your holiday home is still in pristine condition.
Remember, that we also charge good housekeeping bonds (damage deposits) as standard on all bookings as an extra incentive for holidaymakers to treat your house with respect.
No job too small
We understand that no two owners are the same, which is why we let you choose how your property is managed. Owners can opt for a hands-on approach to maintenance and housekeeping, others can rely on us to provide a fully managed or part-managed service. We are happy with whatever works best for you.
Finest Retreats can manage all aspects of your property’s upkeep, from weekly cleaning and laundry to annual chimney sweeps. You may already have a reliable cleaner but do not want to handle the administration; if you let us know, Finest Retreats can handle all the invoices on your behalf and deduct it from your monthly payment run.
We operate a 24/7 emergency phone service for guests and deal with anything from being locked out to not being able to operate the heating. Finest Retreats can deal with all of these issues to save you the time and hassle, or will liaise with you first on bigger jobs.

Hot tub management
Holiday let management costs
The costs for a changeover will vary by the size of the property and the nature of tasks required (e.g. if there's a hot tub to clean and fill). A rough guide for changeover costs are as follows:
1 bed: £50 - £150 per changeover
2 beds: £70 - £200 per changeover
3 beds: £90 - £225 per changeover
4 beds: £120 - £300 per changeover
5+ beds: £175 - £500 per changeover
Costs for maintenance are charged on an ad hoc basis depending on the nature of the issue requiring attention.
Finest Retreats can either handle these costs on your behalf or remit you the gross bookings earnings for you to manage the payments to cleaners and maintenance yourself.

Managing a holiday let involves dozens of tasks, both large and small. Below are the type of services we offer as part of the full holiday home management package:
We do more than 'sourcing you a cleaner'. We employ or own and ensure they meet our rigorous property care standards. Area managers also check up on the house on a regular basis.
Maintenance & gardening
Sweeping chimneys, cutting grass and servicing boilers are all simple maintenance jobs that need to be arranged and completed. Even down to changing the batteries in the TV remote.
Linen & laundry
Keeping sheets crisp and clean is a vital part of holiday home management. We take care of this too.
You only get one chance at a first impression - we will supply, pack and deliver handmade hampers which contain a variety of locally sourced and artisan products that will help guests feel at home from the moment they walk through the door.
We source cost effective but stylish toiletries and keep them stocked up and replenished every changeover.
Guest meet & greet
For some properties, it can make sense to meet them when they arrive and show them around. If there are complicated hot tubs, saunas or hi-tech heating systems to master, nothing beats the personal service of a Finest Retreats expert to give them the first tour.
For guests who are out of town, we can hold a spare set of keys for emergencies, if holidaymakers are locked out and if trades ever need access.
Regular inventory checks to ensure nothing is missing. If we do find items broken or having gone AWOL, we will re-stock them on your behalf.
A minor but important job to keep on top off. We will ensure your windows are regularly cleaned, inside and out, so that your cottage views aren't spoiled.
