Working from home in 2022. Required to occasionally drive to properties to carry out checks and also attend company meetings throughout the year.

Thanks to our continued growth and regular referrals from existing owners we are looking for a new Property Operations Manager to manage the housekeeping and maintenance arrangements at the properties across the UK to ensure they are kept to the highest standards for our owners and their guests.




First and foremost, you are super organised! You’re able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks at one time. You are solutions driven and your communication style is friendly and accurate.

Since you’re liaising with owners and housekeepers you are required to be incredibly professional as you represent our business to these vital stakeholders. You easily earn the respect and appreciation from others through your friendly and likeable manner.


Knowledge of the holiday letting would be a big advantage but not a necessity – you could have any experience where providing a five-star client service and using online systems is vital. Knowledge of a property management system would be advantageous. You’ll certainly be totally computer literate and quick to learn new computer programmes.


Working from home and sometime on the road checking on properties, you’ll need a fast broadband connection and be happy and self-motivated enough to work remotely.


The Property Operations Manager is the primary point of contact for housekeepers, on-site property managers and maintenance people, co-ordinating and scheduling changeovers, and necessary works as they arise.  The role is integral to the owners’ and guests’ experience of Finest Retreats properties. 


The main tasks include (but are not limited to):

  • Recruiting and onboarding new housekeepers and maintenance workers.

  • Co-ordinating the housekeeping team and communicating changeover booking details.

  • Co-ordinating the maintenance requirements, gardeners, window cleaners, waste collection schedules for the properties.

  • Responding to urgent issues requiring same-day solutions.

  • Proactively scheduling oil tank refills, gas bottle replacements, chimney sweeps.

  • Receiving invoices and charging to appropriate owner accounts.

  • Scheduling compliancy report assessments as required.

  • Creating and sending a monthly newsletter to housekeepers and maintenance workers.
